Hi, I am Ngoc Tu.

I live in Hanoi. I am one of two Authentik Travel’s founders.  I graduated from Hanoi University,I could speak both French and English. I hold an MBA from French-Vietnamese Management training center under the Hanoi National Economy University. I also did a Master 2 in Entrepreneurship at EM Strasburg business school. Before founding Authentik Travel, I worked as a tour guide for 10 years. This gave me a great experience and knowledge about my country and I understood that the real discover Vietnam is not made by the main touristic routes. It must encounter the local people. That is why I put authenticity is the center of my work. And every day, with our team, we work to find the places which give an authentic experience for our clients. I love my work as I feel like giving our clients a different experience from everything they knew.

What is my favorite destination?
The ethnic region in the northern Vietnam will offer the most cultural diversity.  It has superb landscapes and beautiful valley, rice terraces, and primitive forests.

What is my favorite season?
I love the autumn, especially during September. This is also the harvested season.  What a beautiful to visit the countryside and the ethnic regions.

An advice for your trip with us?
Never hesitate to say” Xin Chao” ( Hello in Vietnamese) this will lead you a great encounter.

What is the souvenir to bring home after the trip?
I suggest souvenirs from the craft markets that are found all over the country such as the ceramic products you can find in Phu Lang, Bat Trang or Kim Son villages.

Do not forget to put in your luggage
Your camera of course, you can immortalize the beautiful landscapes and encounter with local people.

What is my dream trip?
I would like to travel around my country to discover the new, unusual and authentic places then I could share this to our clients.
