My name is Hà, and I come from Ha Nam, a small province located 60 km south of Hanoi. I graduated from the University of Foreign Languages in Hue. Passionate about the French language and travel, I started working as a French-speaking tour guide in 2010. Since 2012, I have been a travel consultant specializing in tailor-made trips for French-speaking travelers to Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. I am delighted to help you plan your dream trip!
What is my favorite destination in Vietnam?
I absolutely love Ha Giang, a mountainous region known for its authenticity, breathtaking landscapes, and diverse ethnic minorities dressed in colorful traditional outfits. Staying overnight in a local home is also an incredibly enriching experience that I deeply enjoy.
A tip for your trip to Vietnam:
Plan your trip well in advance! In general, it is best to prepare your trip about 6 months ahead to ensure you get the best French-speaking guides and accommodations at the best value.
What is my favorite season in Vietnam?
September! This is when the magnificent terraced rice fields in the northern mountains are at their most stunning.
What souvenir should you bring back from Vietnam?
I recommend lacquered wooden paintings, ethnic fabric table runners or cushion covers, and custom-made clothing or shoes from Hoi An. I’d be happy to share my favorite addresses to help you find the best souvenirs!
