Top 5 destinations for discovering Vietnam's wildlife

Among the most biodiverse countries in the world, Vietnam has a rich system of flora and fauna.
1. Thach Hoa Commune, Tuyen Hoa District (Quang Binh)
It has recently been discovered, the fauna of the region remains little known for the moment. This area is home to many white-necked langurs (also known as Ha Tinh langurs), which are easy to catch and observe.
156 white-necked langurs discovered in Tuyen Hoa district since the beginning of 2021 are divided into 22 groups living near residential areas. These herds are voluntarily protected by local people every day without any source of income.
2. Bach Ma National Park (Hue)
About 40 km from Hue City, Bach Ma National Park is an ecological forest attracting visitors with its beautiful natural scenery and diverse experiences. It is the only primaeval forest in Vietnam that connects the country from the East Sea to the Vietnam-Laos border.
The park also experiences a perfect climatic environment allowing the harmonic cohabitation between many species of birds, insects and wild animals.
Bach Ma has more than 1,500 species of animals, of which 93 species are listed in the Vietnam Red Book and the World Red List. The avifauna of the park represents more than 40% of the total animal species. Visitors will have the opportunity to see many rare and precious birds of the world such as white-faced owl, rufous-banded owl, white-browed sparrow-weaver...
3. Son Tra Nature Reserve (Danang)
With a total area of more than 4,400 hectares, Son Tra Nature Reserve is considered the "green lung" of Danang with a rich flora and fauna system.
Son Tra has more than a hundred species of animals with dozens of rare species listed in the Red Book for the conservation of the world such as red hens, and aquatic animals... The particularity of this reserve is the brown-tailed langur, known as the queen of primates. More than 400 langurs and many long-tailed monkeys live there together.
Langurs appear all year round, almost every season. Very gentle and friendly, so they can be easily observed.
4. Tram Chim National Park (Dong Thap)
With a total area of more than 7,500 hectares, Tram Chim is a typical miniature model of the Dong Thap Muoi region, with a diverse ecosystem, where visitors experience the characteristics of the Mekong Delta.
The rich water bird system consists of 233 species, 88% of which appeared in the dry season, accounting for a quarter of the total number of bird species found in Vietnam. This place is also known as the "kingdom of red-crowned cranes" - the largest bird in the crane family and a rare species listed in the national Red Book.
5. Vinpearl Safari Park Phu Quoc (Kien Giang)
Located in a primaeval forest with an area of about 380 hectares, Vinpearl Safari Phu Quoc is a zoo designed according to the famous semi-wild (safari) model. It is also the first semi-wild zoo in Vietnam.
As an ideal place to observe the natural captive environment of species not found in Vietnam, Vinpearl is the "common home" of more than 3,000 individuals from Europe, America, and South Africa... The animals are bred, according to international standards in good conditions. There are rare species such as cranes, sabre-horned Arabian antelopes, and black-necked white swans...
