Ong Lang Beach, one of the most beautiful and secret beaches on Phu Quoc Island

One of the most beautiful beaches in Phu Quoc, this beach is more discreet and therefore less crowded than its counterparts, Sao, Kem and Truong beaches. A favorite for nature lovers and those who want to relax in a setting far from the hustle and bustle of the world.

Located in the west of Phu Quoc Island, Ong Lang Beach is nearly six kilometers from Duong Dong Town, the region's heart. Dotted with rocks, its crescent of yellow sand is bordered on one side by green trees and on the other, by turquoise water that is reminiscent of the beaches of the Maldives.

With its still wild natural setting, it is unsurprising that Ong Lang Beach is among the best places to admire the sunset in Phu Quoc. For some people, the rocks emerging around Mango Bay Resort lend themselves wonderfully to a beautiful meditation in front of the sea at the end of the day.

Note that the best time to enjoy the beaches of Phu Quoc is from October to April, its dry season.

4.5km from Duong Dong towards Cua Can, you will find a sign on the left and continue one more kilometer to access Ong Lang Beach.

Well away from the wind, Ong Lang Beach is ideal for swimming for hours in calm water with extremely gentle slopes. Other aquatic pleasures such as diving and fishing are also on the program to help you discover the hordes of fish, shells and multi-colored coral reefs that are home to the rocks and the seabed.

Large green areas stretching over hundreds of meters along the beach are perfect for picnicking in the shade. After hours of sunbathing or indulging in outdoor games, you can barbecue with seafood bought at Duong Dong market and spend a beautiful gourmet evening with family or friends.

Another activity that must delight lovers of the sea is, without a doubt, kayaking which is quite practicable at Ong Lang Beach. This is also the opportunity to take a tour of the resort and explore the surroundings towards the Cua Can River.
