    For good weather, the best time is between February and April when temperatures are around 20 degrees and there is very little rain. Perfect for trekking!

    Between October and November, it is buckwheat flower season. It's the perfect time for photographers!

    1.4. North-West (4-6 days)

    The North-West is a special gift for photography lovers. It is one of the places where you can admire some of the most beautiful rice terraces in the world. Then grab your hiking shoes to immerse yourself in the breath-taking scenes of Tonkin towards the rice terraces of Mu Cang Chai and then into the misty trails of the ethnic villages of Lao Chai and Ta Van of Sapa.     When to go to the North-West?

    It is advisable to go to the North-West between June and October when it is sunny and the rice fields are resplendent, especially just before the harvest, at the end of May in the valleys and at the end of September for the 2nd harvest in the valleys (in Nghia Lo, Tu Le) and for the single harvest in the rice terraces in Mu Cang Chai and Sapa. In July - August, there is sometimes strong heat and big storms, but the rice fields are a magnificent soft green.

    1.5. Ninh Binh (1-2 days)

    Take the road to Ninh Binh with a rowing boat ride in the middle of the peaceful fields of Tam Coc, surrounded by multi-faceted limestone formations. A very relaxing stop in the old 11th-century temples dedicated to kings Dinh and Le, vestiges of the ancient capital Hoa Lu, is well worth the detour.

    How to get to Ninh Binh?

    Located 90 km South of Hanoi and along National Road 1A, Ninh Binh is easily accessible by train, bus and motorbike. The duration of the journey to Hanoi – Ninh Binh by car is between 1h45-2h drive.

    When to go to Halong Bay?

    You can visit Halong Bay all year round. However, the months between August and November and between March and May are the two best times to go to Halong Bay, with temperatures between 24 and 28°C and clear skies. Note that a cruise in Halong Bay between June and July could sometimes be spoiled by rain or storms.

    1.7. Phong Nha – Ke Bang (2-3 days)

    Fly to the centre which reveals its fabulous jewel in the Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park to admire, among other things, numerous stalactite formations, each as magnificent as the next, including the Thien Duong (Paradise) Cave, one of the most spectacular in the world.

    How to get to Quang Binh?

    You can take a flight or night train from Hanoi to Dong Hoi Town.

    - Between May and September, it is the hottest time of the year (35-40 degrees), but the sky is clear.
    - The rainy season begins in September until December. This is the least favourable time to visit Hue and Hoi An
    - Between January and April, it is the best time to visit. The weather is cool and pleasant.

    1.9. Hoi An (2-3 days)

    The old postcard town, a major trading port in South-East Asia between the 15th and 18th centuries, Hoi An is unfailingly attached to its incomparable heritage as evidenced by its typical architecture and atmosphere from another time. Its pretty boutiques offer you so many choices to find beautiful souvenirs as well as to have quality tailor-made clothes made. A night-time stroll through its colourful streets with a thousand lanterns will immerse you in a perfectly romantic evening.
