Hi, I’m Hương Thảo (Jenny).

I live in Hanoi, where I find inspiration in the city's rich history, vibrant streets, and the everyday stories of its people.

With a background in English Interpretation and Translation and French Language and Culture from the University of Languages and International Studies, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, I have always been passionate about languages, cultures, and human connections. Today, at Authentik Travel, I bring this passion into my work as a content creator, sharing the beauty of Vietnam through stories, photographs, and videos.

To me, discovering Vietnam goes beyond visiting famous landmarks. It means meeting local people, understanding their traditions, and appreciating the little things that make each place unique. I hope my work can inspire travellers to see Vietnam from a different perspective and take home memories that last long after their journey ends.

What is my favourite destination?

The northern mountains of Vietnam, with their breathtaking landscapes, terraced rice fields, and diverse ethnic cultures.

What is my favourite season?

Autumn, especially September, when golden rice fields transform the countryside into a beautiful patchwork of colours.

An advice for your trip with us?

Don't hesitate to say “Xin chào!” A simple greeting and a smile can open the door to wonderful encounters.

What souvenir should you bring home?

A handmade craft from a traditional village, such as the beautiful ceramics of Bat Trang or Phu Lang - a little piece of Vietnamese heritage to cherish.

What should you never forget to pack?

Your camera, of course, and an open mind. Capture the beautiful moments, but don't forget to put your camera down and truly experience them.

What is my dream trip?

To travel slowly across Vietnam, discover hidden places, meet local people, and uncover stories that I can share with travellers seeking a more authentic experience.
