Linh Phuoc Pagoda, Linh Son Pagoda or Truc Lam Zen Monastery are the places where visitors can pray for good luck, health and peace in the first days of the year.
1. Linh Son Pagoda
The pagoda was built in the 1938s. Quite modest and simple, it attracts many tourists to visit. It is also one of the oldest pagodas in Dalat.
Located on a small hill in the heart of the city, Linh Son Pagoda has a secluded space. You can only hear the rustling of leaves and the ringing of the bell in the afternoon. The pagoda has an Asian architectural style with harmonious features and typical characteristics of Vietnamese religious monuments.
2. Linh Phuoc Pagoda
8km southeast of the center of Dalat, Linh Phuoc Pagoda features a unique ceramic mosaic architecture. The most impressive is Long Hoa Park with the shape of a curved dragon 49m long, 1.3m wide. The dragon scales are made from fragments of 12,000 beer bottles. The pagoda is also known to tourists as Ve Chai Pagoda. Visitors can walk in the belly of a dragon.
The main hall is 22m wide, 33m long. Its highlight is a 4.9m statue of Shakyamuni Buddha inlaid with gold, surrounded by mosaic reliefs of ceramic fragments vividly depicting the life of the Buddha.
3. Truc Lam Zen Monastery
Along with Truc Lam Yen Tu (Quang Ninh), Truc Lam Tay Thien (Vinh Phuc), Truc Lam Zen Monastery in Dalat is one of the three largest Zen monasteries in Vietnam of the Truc Lam sect.
5 km from the city center, the monastery is located on the mountain, next to Tuyen Lam Lake and surrounded by thousands of green pine trees. It is not only a place of worship, but also a tourist site for many domestic and foreign visitors.
One can walk through the passages inside the monastery while enjoying its quiet space.

4. Van Hanh Zen Monastery
Van Hanh Zen Monastery is nestled on a small hill on the outskirts of the city, forming with Truc Lam Zen Monastery the two largest Zen monasteries in Lam Dong province. Up to now, over 60 years old, the monastery is frequented by many Buddhists in Dalat and beyond.
The highlight of the monastery is a 24m high, 20m wide statue of Shakyamuni Buddha, with his right hand holding a lotus flower.

30km from the city center, Linh An Pagoda was built in 1993. It is considered one of the most beautiful pagodas in the suburbs of Da Lat. The pagoda is nestled in the middle of an undulating hill, facing Thac Voi Waterfall, which flows all year round.
The Maitreya statue will catch your eye with a height of 12.5m, a width of 6.5m and a width of 9m. Coming to Linh An Pagoda in the early days of the year, visitors mingle with a large number of people to offer incense offerings to Buddha. Then, one can visit Thac Voi Waterfall next to it.
