Mai Chau Valley View

This accomodation, run by a white Thai, is well appreciated by a number of travellers both for its good price and for its relaxed and warm atmosphere. Located 600 metres from the Lac village, one kilometre from the Mai Chau market and the bus station, Mai Chau Valley View has twenty rooms overlooking immense rice fields and offering satisfactory service.

Homestay in Mai Chau

If you wish to live an authentic experience with a local family, it is quite possible, especially in the villages of Mai Chau namely Lac, Pom Coong, Buoc and Mai Hich.

With around thirty large houses on stilts available, the Lac village offers the most possibilities of spending the night in a traditional Thai dwelling. Clean, airy and offering decent comfort, each is able to fit from 40 to almost 100 people. Separated by a curtain, each mattress is fitted with a blanket and pillow. For those who travel in large groups, this option is, therefore, the most economical.

Homestay suggestion in the Lac village: Houses on stilts no. 01, 02, 05, 19, 28...

Private rooms are also available there at between 200,000 and 300,000 VND person per night.

Note: to compare, Pom Coong village is quieter than its neighbour, Lac village.
