Many hotel establishments in Vietnam have been distinguished this year by prestigious awards such as the World Travel Awards, the Michelin Guide, as well as leading international magazines including Travel + Leisure and Condé Nast Traveler.

For the first time, the Michelin Guide has unveiled its global hotel ranking through the Michelin Keys, selecting 13 Vietnamese hotels, including two properties awarded the highest distinction of three Michelin Keys: Capella Hanoi and Amanoi (Khánh Hòa).

Capella Hanoi

Located on Lê Phụng Hiểu Street, approximately 500 meters from Hoàn Kiếm Lake, Capella Hanoi was designed by architect Bill Bensley, drawing inspiration from the world of 1920s opera. The hotel features 47 rooms ranging from 35 to 194 m², all equipped with balconies.

Each room boasts a unique design, telling its own story of the operatic world through architecture and interior décor. Nightly rates start at around 7 million VND, depending on the season.

Capella Hanoi was also named Best Hotel in Vietnam 2025 by Condé Nast Traveler and received the 5-star distinction at the Forbes Travel Guide Star Awards.

Amanoi Resort (Khánh Hòa)

In Khánh Hòa Province, Amanoi Resort is nestled in the heart of Núi Chúa National Park, a UNESCO-listed site. Beyond ultra-luxurious accommodation, travelers can enjoy immersive activities such as:

  • Hiking to the summit to watch the sunrise

  • Trekking through the national park

  • Scuba diving

  • Kayaking, sailing, paddleboarding

  • Private beach picnics

The resort offers 44 accommodation units, ranging from one- to five-bedroom residences, each providing several hundred square meters of open, light-filled space. Rates for a double room start at approximately 20 million VND per night.

Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai (Đà Nẵng)

The Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai (Đà Nẵng) has been awarded two Michelin Keys and the highest 5-star rating from the Forbes Travel Guide.

In 2025, out of 2,187 establishments evaluated worldwide, only 350 hotels and resorts received this supreme distinction, reserved for addresses described as “exceptional, iconic, and offering flawless service.”

Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi

In Hanoi, the legendary Sofitel Legend Metropole has been awarded one Michelin Key. It ranks first as Best Urban Hotel in Vietnam 2025 according to Travel + Leisure and appears on the prestigious Condé Nast Traveler Gold List 2025, as the only Vietnamese representative.

Built in 1901, this iconic hotel on Ngô Quyền Street is the oldest hotel in the capital. Experts describe it as “a symbol of French colonial elegance combined with warm hospitality.” The hotel offers more than 350 rooms, with rates starting at 5.7 million VND per night.

Zannier Bãi San Hô

Zannier Bãi San Hô has received two Michelin Keys and ranks among the Top 50 Best Hotels in the World 2025 according to the Telegraph Hotel Awards, as well as the Top 100 Best Hotels in Asia-Pacific by Tatler Asia.

Designed as a coastal village in Sông Cầu, the resort blends villas inspired by traditional architecture with communal spaces decorated with antiques and works of art. Rates start at 10 million VND per night.

JW Marriott Emerald Bay Resort & Spa

In Phú Quốc, the JW Marriott Emerald Bay Resort & Spa was named Best Hotel with a Pool in Vietnam 2025 by Travel + Leisure and ranks among the world’s top resorts according to Condé Nast Traveler.

Its iconic Shell Pool, shaped like a seashell, embodies a unique retro elegance. Room rates start at 8.8 million VND per night.

InterContinental Sun Peninsula Resort (Đà Nẵng)

Also in Đà Nẵng, InterContinental Sun Peninsula Resort was awarded:

  • Best Beach Resort in Vietnam 2025 by Travel + Leisure

  • Best Hotel in Vietnam 2025 by Condé Nast Traveler

  • Asia’s Leading Luxury Resort by the World Travel Awards

Nestled on the lush slopes of the Sơn Trà Peninsula, the resort spans 39 hectares and features 201 sea-view rooms, along with a 700-meter private beach. Rates start at 20 million VND per night.

Anantara Hoi An Resort

Anantara Hoi An Resort, named Best Suburban Hotel in Vietnam 2025, is located along the Thu Bồn River, just a short walk from the Old Town.

It combines colonial charm with modern comfort and offers numerous cultural experiences for guests. Prices start at 7 million VND per night.

La Veranda Resort (Phú Quốc)

In Phú Quốc, La Veranda Resort tops the list of Best Spa Hotels in Vietnam 2025 according to Travel + Leisure and was named Best Boutique Hotel in Asia by the World Travel Awards.

Inspired by French mansions of the 1920s, its Tĩnh Wellness Sanctuary spa offers holistic treatments in a serene natural setting. Rates start at 2.8 million VND per night.

Panhou Retreat

In the mountains of Hoàng Su Phì, Panhou Retreat was recognized as Asia’s Best Eco-Resort 2025 by the World Travel Awards.

Built with natural materials and inspired by the legends of the Dao people, the retreat offers:

  • Traditional herbal baths

  • Yoga sessions

  • Guided hikes through terraced rice fields

Rates average around 2.9 million VND per night.

Six Senses Ninh Vân Bay (Khánh Hòa)

Six Senses Ninh Vân Bay (Khánh Hòa) was named Asia’s Most Romantic Resort 2025. Overlooking Ninh Vân Bay, its thatched-roof villas offer total immersion in nature. Prices exceed 20 million VND per night.

La Siesta Classic Hanoi

Finally, La Siesta Classic Hanoi ranked 12th in the Top 25 Best Hotels in the World 2025 according to Tripadvisor, one of the industry’s most prestigious rankings.

This 70-room boutique hotel, located in the Old Quarter, features a rooftop sky bar with panoramic views over the city. Rates start at 2.5 million VND per night.
