Most gorgeous waterfalls in Vietnam - Part two

Among the many various types of travelers, to which do you belong? The city slickers, the concrete jungle strutters, coastal junkies or the wisest travelers of all. For those that are in love with mountains and cool water at the same time, hunting for a perfect waterfall vista as well as the spectacular feeling of fresh mist falling on your face will be the best experience ever.
With the belief that our previous article will give you a brief list about the most magnificent waterfalls in Vietnam, in today's article, we continue to deliver to you an expansion of the list.
1. Ban Gioc Waterfall, Cao Bang
Located at around 272 km to the north of Hanoi, Ban Gioc or Detian Falls is a collective name for two waterfalls on the Quay Son river that straddle the international border between China and Vietnam; specifically located between the Karst hills of Daxin County, Guangxi, and Trung Khanh District, Cao Bang Province. Fresh water, pristine cozy villages and a pure area will provide tourists with wonderful views and unforgettable feelings. Ban Gioc waterfall is, for sure, worth your visit.
The name Bao Dai waterfall has been taken after the Vietnamese last king’s because it is said that the king used to stopped here during his hunting day. With 70-meter height and 100-meter width, it is thought to be the greatest waterfall that should not be missed by any visitors.
3. Yang Bay Waterfall, Khanh Hoa
The waterfall is located in Khanh Phu Commune, Khanh Vinh district of Khanh Hoa province which has an altitude of 100 meters. In some recent years, it has attracted more and more tourists by bushy primeval forest.
Coming here, visitors can choose to uncover interesting daily life of local people such as the minority ethnic group of Ralay or dip yourself into fresh and cool stream and have lunch at Yang Bay restaurant, all of which will bring unforgettable experiences. Waterfalls of Dray Nur, Dray Sap and Gia Long (Buon Ma Thuot, Dak Lak Province). These are in a group of three waterfalls in the highland of Vietnam that is 30 kilometers away from Buon Ma Thuot City. It takes you different trails to reach all of them so that Dray Nur is mostly recommended if your time is limited.
It is 30 km away from the North of Da Lat City, the 57-meter waterfall lies inside a park which has its cable system going up to the top. Just take a short walk you will see the beautiful cascade along with wonderful sceneries and cool fresh air.
5. Thac Tranh or Picture waterfall
Along Phu Quoc island has being a variety of streams and waterfalls and Thac Tranh is one of those that should not be missed. Being considered one of the most wonderful cascade in Vietnam, Thac Tranh could bring you cool and clean stream of water where you can relax and dip yourself into.
6. Khe Van Waterfall, Binh Lieu
The mountainous district of Binh Lieu (Quang Ninh province) has been distinctive with its majestic pristine beauty prominent by Khe Van - one of the waterfalls warned not to reach. All of which excites adventurer to come and discover. Khe Van, which locates in Huc Dong commune, is considered one of the most wonderful cascade in Vietnam. Travelers will be amazed by the three-story magnificent waterfall that would be more picturesque in rainy season (range from May to August) when spume draw superb images in front of you.
The waterfall is 100 meters in height, the water runs from the Khe Van–Thong Chau mountain range 1,000m above sea level. Not only have its special attractiveness, Khe Van also owns particular cultural values. It is the place where an ethnic couple of San Diu and San Chi had their date and sang Soong Co – ethnic minority groups’ traditional song.
These ethnic groups believed that the fourth day of April is not a good day for work. On this day, the trees planted will not grow, the house when being built will collapse. Therefore, they stop doing all stuffs to spend time playing together in surrounding waterfalls, streams and lakes. This eastern district of Quang Ninh, which is adjacent to China, has attracted tourist by its pristine and tranquil beauty as well as the diversity of culture coming from ethnic minority groups.
Lying next to the highway 20 and is about 5km far away from Da Lat city, Dalanta is an impressive tourist attraction. Its area of 312 hectare locating in the middle of reserved forest would be an impression for tourists. You can choose to walk or hire an alpine coaster to reach the cascade. Furthermore, it’s also interesting to join adventurous activities such as climbing over rocks, exploring forests or walking to Prenn bridge. All above are the 16 most wonderful waterfall in Vietnam.
