What to see in Northern Vietnam in May and June?

In May, the sun is more and more present in the North of Vietnam, temperatures rise crescendo to reach some heat peaks during June. What to see in Central Vietnam in May and June?

The months of May and June are perfect for visiting Central Vietnam. In this season, the former imperial palace of Hue, the tombs of the emperors, and the Thien Mu pagoda are embalmed with the scent of flowers, especially those of frangipani and hibiscus. The weather is perfect for exploring the remains of the Vietnam War in the DMZ region and enjoying the stunning deserted beaches North of Hue. What to see in the South of Vietnam in May and June?

In the South of Vietnam, it is the start of the rainy season. The refreshing rains are welcome during this period of intense heat. These beneficial rains regenerate nature and give it a superb lushness like in the Mekong Delta. In this region, the first rains herald the arrival of seafood in the canals and arms of the river such as “linh” fish and the flowering of lotuses, the emblematic flower of Vietnam.

The months of May and June are perfect for taking a cruise in Halong Bay and/or enjoying the isolated islands and coves of the Cat Ba archipelago and Lan Ha Bay.
