Phu Quoc island has been always an attractive tourist destination to both Vietnamese and international tourists with its charming beaches and amazing seafood restaurants. However, that Phu Quoc is an island makes it a bit difficult and complicated for the travelling to and in this area. In this article, we would like to share with you some information to make travelling here cheaper and easier.

1. Which transport to travel to Phu Quoc?

  • By plane:

There is no international direct flights to Phu Quoc. Vietnam and Cambodia used to cooperate to open a direct flight path from Siem Riep to Phu Quoc but it was closed due to the uneconomical operation.

There are domestic flights from Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet and Jetstar. Vietjet and Jetstar are two low-cost airlines that have the highest rate of delaying and cancelling which is not suitable for the tours requiring punctuality. Therefore, we will just provide the flight timetable of Vietnam Airlines or you can look up for more information on their offical site Vietnam Airlines
