Diep Son Island: A treasure to discover

The best time for exploring is at low tide when you can admire a curved sandbar connecting three islets by a sand bridge. The scene is picturesque, with green islets and white sand stretching as far as the eye can see. It is easy to get to the island several times a day by speedboat from Van Gia Town.

- For those planning to spend more than 3 hours on the island, remember to bring sunscreen as the island can be hot and sunny.

Binh Ba Island: A gourmet and natural getaway
Located 60 kilometers from Nha Trang City, Binh Ba, also known as Lobster Island, is famous for providing the freshest and most delicious lobsters in Khanh Hoa Province. Formerly under military control, the island is now open to visitors while retaining its primitive and preserved character. Its untouched nature attracts hundreds of travelers with its exquisite landscape, including radiant sunshine, azure blue skies, soft white sand and a marvelous coastline. Today, the island is home to 5,000 residents whose main source of income is fishing and seafood processing.

- Address: Cam Binh, Cam Ranh, Khanh Hoa.
- Best time to visit: from March to September, when the climate is conducive to sailing and lobster fishing. We advise you to plan at least a full day to explore Binh Ba Island and fully enjoy all its attractions.
- Boat ticket: To get to Binh Ba Island, go to Ba Ngoi port (just tell the driver the name and he will take you to the exact location), where you can board the boat. The boat ticket costs around 30,000 dong ($1.5) per person.
- Note: Binh Ba is an important military island in Vietnam. Therefore, there are still restrictions for foreign visitors, although the rules have been relaxed. Be sure to follow all applicable regulations during your visit.
Hon Yen Island: A swiftlet paradise
An hour's boat ride from Cau Da port will take you to Hon Yen Island, a sanctuary for swiftlets in Nha Trang. The natural features of the island have attracted many swiftlets which build their nests there. Each year, these nests are harvested to produce healthy food. Additionally, the island is famous for being home to Vietnam’s one and only twin beaches. The beach is divided into two distinct sides: one with warm water and the other with cold water. For an even more enjoyable and interesting experience, visit this island with your family or close friends.

- Climb the 220 steps to Du Ha Mountain and admire the surrounding panorama of the sea from its summit.
- Buy local products made from natural swiftlet nests, such as swiftlet nest drinks and wine, as well as seahorse wine.
- Enjoy sailing along the twin beach.

- It is advisable to get up early because the boats leave Cau Da Port for Hon Yen Island at 7:30 a.m.
Hon Tre Island: A tourist gem of Nha Trang
Hon Tre Island is renowned as one of the most famous tourist islands in Nha Trang. Located just 5km from downtown Nha Trang, it is considered one of the most magnificent beaches in Vietnam. Many tourists choose it for their ecotourism in Nha Trang. In addition to its stunning seascapes, Hon Tre is also an entertainment paradise, with many luxury hotels and modern resorts. Among all the coastal areas of Vietnam, Nha Trang is renowned for having one of the most beautiful coral reefs. The most famous place to observe coral is certainly Hon Mun islet – one of the most famous islands in Nha Trang. Just 10km from the port of Cau Da, it takes 45 minutes by boat to get there. This place attracts tourists with its exotic beauty and breathtaking landscapes. Its blue sea water plays a crucial role in creating a rich marine life, recognized as some of the most diverse in Vietnam.

Hon Tam Island - the island of natural and cultural beauty
Han Tam, also called Thuy Kim Son Island, located about 7km from Nha Trang, is an ideal destination for tourists looking for a primitive relaxing place. Having divine beauty, it is one of the most famous resort areas for visitors. Gentle waves, a long beach and nature create the perfect conditions for those who want to relax.
Different from most areas in Vietnam, Hon Tam has a mild annual climate, which is neither too high nor too low. Its climate can be described as cool in winter and warm in summer, which allows tourists to come and spend a comfortable time here almost all year round.
In addition, along the beach, there will be several places where activities such as traveling by kayak and motorboat take place. If you are an adventurous enthusiast, this will be a suitable place for you.

- Visit the historic village of Hoang Hoa in Nha Trang, which is home to 100-year-old houses.

- Ticket: a wide range of choices, at around 600,000 VND (~$27)/person. Boats coming to Hon Tam depart every hour from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from Hon Tam Port.

Whale Island - a true escape from city life
Located about 100km from Nha Trang, Whale Island, also called Hon Ong Island, is ideal for those looking for less crowded places. Unlike other islands, Hon Ong has no permanent inhabitants. All tourist activities on this island are organized by its only seaside resort: the Baleine seaside resort. Thus, Hon Ong is not recommended for visitors seeking the adventure of simple activities such as kayaking and motorboat rides.
If you are looking for an energetic place to spend your days and nights in lively bars, this island will not suit you. On the other hand, if you are looking for an unspoilt island, where you can escape the hectic city life, this place is a true paradise for you.

- Enjoy kayaking and motorboat rides.
- Escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Information and advice:
- Note: Since there is only one resort with around 30 rooms on this island, it is best to book if you want to visit the island. The resort is mainly built of wood, bamboo and dried leaves, so you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in nature.
- Ticket: To access the island, go to Dam Mon Port; a boat from the seaside resort will take you there for free to Hon Ong.
- Recommended visiting time: From February to August, as there can besmall storms during this period.
- Address: Van Thanh, Van Ninh, Khanh Hoa.
