When one discovers the idyllic beaches of Nha Trang, we guarantee you will not want to leave it's warm embrace. Sunbathing while watching the blue of the East Sea is an activity that is hard to get bored of. It's always nice during a trip to have a good time relaxing and chilling. If doing nothing is too unbearable, stay facing the sea and indulge in some water activities that you can have in your resort such as water skiing, jet skiing, parasailing, paddling or water sailing.
On the first and second day in Nha Trang, you can enjoy seaside pleasures and cultural discoveries. The main cultural attraction of the city is undoubtedly the Po Nagar Cham towers, which is still in a remarkable state. Built between the 8th and 11th centuries by the Cham people who once dominated the central plain of Vietnam, the Po Nagar Cham towers were erected to worship the goddess Yan Po Nagar, founder of the Champa Kingdom. Classified as a National Historic Heritage site, the Po Nagar Cham towers were a wonderful witness to the architectural genius of the people of the Champa Kingdom but who are now extinct.
You can also visit the Institute of Oceanography of Nha Trang founded on September 14, 1922 by French scientists, a facility still used for marine scientific research. Or the Nha Trang cathedral of Gothic style, made entirely of stone and built in the 1930s, or the Alexander museum Yersin devoted to this French adventurer scientist who lived and died in Nha Trang. The local population held Yersin in high esteem for his work he undertook for the fishing community in particular. The museum is right next to the Institute Pasteur which he ran before.
You can also dedicate a day out to explore some of the islands that dot the beautiful Nha Trang Bay. This is a great trip out to the sea where you can swim in the warm, translucent waters and discover the seabed by snorkelling. Ultra fresh seafood BBQ and a very friendly atmosphere with the crew of the boat will leave you with an excellent experience. There’s also a possibility to go out at sea with a diving club to enjoy the extraordinary beauty of the seabed. In the evening, you can enjoy the atmosphere of the night market and especially the stalls of seafood restaurants. Nha Trang is renowned throughout the country for the quality of its seafood products, especially lobster. Gourmets, please take note!
