Hoa Lu ancient capital is a unique architectural complex in Ninh Binh province, has been recognized by UNESCO as one of four core areas of Trang An World Heritage Complex. It is also ranked by the state as an architecturally important and particularly important national historical complex, which should be preserved.

From Hanoi to Ninh Binh, you can choose one of the following ways:
Train: Hanoi - Ninh Binh train fare ranges from 90,000 VND to more than 200,000 VND (4$-9$) depending on the train and seat type.
Bus: You can catch a bus from Giap Bat or My Dinh bus station to Ninh Binh with the price ranging from 70,000 VND - 90,000 VND (3$-4$) / person. The average time is about 1 hour 30 minutes.
Motorbike: If you like the feeling of driving a motorbike, you can start at Phap Van - Cau Gie highway and continue to follow the direction of Cau Gie - Phu Ly - Ninh Binh with the travel time from 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes.
4. Architecture of the complex of Hoa Lu Ancient Capital

King Le temple located 50m from King Dinh temple with the same structure. It is 200m from King Le temple, is the Nhat Tru pagoda, built from the reign of King Le Dai Hanh, in front of the pagoda which has stone pillars that’s 4.16 m high, eight-sided shape, engraved with the King's Sutra texts to make a Buddha's house. Next to it is the relic area associated with the story of the third princess of King Dinh Tien Hoang who commited suicide by jumping into a well so she didn’t have to follow her husband standing against her father. This temple worshiped the princess.
6. Traditional festival in Hoa Lu Ancient Capital
On March 8th to March 10th each year is the time of the traditional festival of the ancient capital of Hoa Lu to honor the national kings and heroes who built and developed the capital of Hoa Lu, establishing a house.
