Methods of transport

You can go to Quy Nhon from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City by plane, train and bus. Depending on your budget of time and money, you are free to choose the way that seems optimal.

Plane

The plane is at hand as the most convenient way to get to Quy Nhon from Hanoi and Saigon.

Vietnamese companies Vietnam Airlines, VietjetAir, Jetstar and Bamboo Airways offer direct flights between Quy Nhon and these cities.

Travel between Quy Nhon Airport and downtown

Phu Cat International Airport is 35 kilometres from downtown Quy Nhon. You have two options to reach the city:

+ Shuttle bus for 50,000 VND, taking around 50 minutes, which stops in town at 1 Nguyen Tat Thanh Street.
+ The taxi from 250,000 VND. Go for carpooling if you plan to save money.

Train

The train is a popular and economical way to try for this journey which certainly, requires about a day on the way from Hanoi, but gives the opportunity to contemplate the Vietnamese countryside from a particular and equally interesting angle.

For better comfort on the road, you can book a well-equipped bed with the 20-seater limousines of Hoa Nho, Manh Hung, Chon My and Tan Dung Tien. More expensive for sure but you can sleep well in a comfortable personal bed.
