Methods of transport

You can go to Quy Nhon from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City by plane, train and bus. Depending on your budget of time and money, you are free to choose the way that seems optimal.

Plane

The plane is at hand as the most convenient way to get to Quy Nhon from Hanoi and Saigon.

Vietnamese companies Vietnam Airlines, VietjetAir, Jetstar and Bamboo Airways offer direct flights between Quy Nhon and these cities.

Travel between Quy Nhon Airport and downtown

Phu Cat International Airport is 35 kilometres from downtown Quy Nhon. You have two options to reach the city:

+ Shuttle bus for 50,000 VND, taking around 50 minutes, which stops in town at 1 Nguyen Tat Thanh Street.
+ The taxi from 250,000 VND. Go for carpooling if you plan to save money.

Train

The train is a popular and economical way to try for this journey which certainly, requires about a day on the way from Hanoi, but gives the opportunity to contemplate the Vietnamese countryside from a particular and equally interesting angle.

Trains SE1, SE3, SE5, SE7, SE9 and SE11 depart daily from Hanoi to Dieu Tri station in Quy Nhon.

Train Saigon - Quy Nhon

Trains SE2, SE4, SE6, SE8, SE10, SE12, SE22, SE26, SE28 and SQN2 depart daily from Saigon to Dieu Tri station in Quy Nhon.

To reach the city, you have three possible means, taxi, motorcycle taxi and public bus. The cheapest is the bus that you can choose from T3, T4, T7, T8 and T12 whose T3 is the cheapest 8000 VND / ticket.

There are 5 Hanoi - Quy Nhon routes per day served by reliable companies including Hoang Long, Hien Phuoc, Phuong Hoang and Thu Trang. These are buses with foldable seats offering professional benefits.

Depart from Nuoc Ngam station at 07:00, 13:00, 20:00 and 21:30

Depart from Giap Bat station: 10 am - arrive at Quy Nhon at 9:35 am the following day

Bus Saigon - Quy Nhon

You have a great choice from Saigon with about twenty buses connecting the Mien Dong bus station and Quy Nhon city.

Reliable Companies: Hoang Long, Phuong Trang, Van Cam, Phuc Thao Thuan, Hoang Dung, Minh Chanh that offer foldable seats with professional staff.

+ Phuc Thuan Thao: depart at 18h, arrive at 6:10, ticket at 240,000 VND.

Luxury Bus or Limousine Saigon - Quy nhon

For better comfort on the road, you can book a well-equipped bed with the 20-seater limousines of Hoa Nho, Manh Hung, Chon My and Tan Dung Tien. More expensive for sure but you can sleep well in a comfortable personal bed.
