Cambodia: E-Arrival card mandatory from July 2024

From July 1, 2024, all travelers entering Cambodia must submit an electronic arrival card at least 7 days before arrival.

The CeA, or “Cambodia e-Arrival”, is designed to accelerate and modernize the entry process. This digital card replaces the traditional paper immigration form, health form, and customs declaration, consolidating them into one convenient online portal. 

How to apply for an e-Arrival for Cambodia

The e-Arrival card, free of charge, can be made via two channels:

-  The official website: The official government website, https://www.arrival.gov.kh/, enables online submission of the e-Arrival card.

-  The official mobile application: Available on App Store and Google Play, this application called “Cambodia e-Arrival” provides a convenient mobile platform for filling out the e-Arrival card.

To complete the online form, travelers need to insert a passport photo and a scanned copy of their passport. The CeA card also includes a health declaration form and a customs declaration form.

This process applies to travelers arriving by air at Phnom Penh and Siem Reap airports. Those entering Cambodia via land border crossings, by boat, or via Sihanoukville Airport are still using paper forms for the time being. 

Although theonline submission deadline is 7 days prior to the arrival date, people who missed the online submissioncan still execute the e-Arrival process with the tablets available at Siem Reap and Phnom Penh airports.

Reserving an electronic visa on arrival (e-VOA) is also possible to accelerate the arrival process via this platform. The cost of a tourist visa is $30.

When completed, a QR code is issued to be presented printed, or electronically registered, to immigration officials upon arrival in Cambodia. Authentik Vietnam recommends that travelers use the e-Visa reservation system for a faster, smoother arrival process.
