Day 01 : Yangon arrival (-/-/D)
Upon arrival in Yangon airport, Authentik Travel’s tour guide and driver will welcome you and transfer to hotel in the city center.
Listening to the tour briefing and enjoy welcome dinner at a finest local restaurant.

Day 02 : Yangon full day city tour (B/-/-)
Enjoy a full day tour to discover this charming city.
Starting from your hotel to visit the colonial style buildings, walking along the street to enjoy beauty of these old buildings built in the last century following the British architecture. Then visit the famous landmarks in the city such as Sule Pagoda built in the 3rd century right in the city center.
The next is Botahtaung pagoda by the grand Yangon River. According to the local, the pagoda was built over 2000 years ago. Enshrine the sacred relics of the Buddha.
Lunch is on your own at a recommended local restaurant.
After lunch, enjoy a transfer to explore reclining Buddha temple or called Chaukhtatgyi Buddha temple. The most well-known Buddhist temples in Bahan town ship of Yangon. The reclined Buddha image is 66 meters long built during the 1900 of last century. This is one of the biggest Buddha in Myanmar.
In the afternoon, take a visit to the Scott market or Bogyoke market (closed on Monday) to see the local life selling the medicines, foodstuffs, garments, electrics, souvenirs, jewelry, art gallery…
Followed by a visit to 2500 year old magnificent Shwedagon pagoda, this is the most famous and sacred place of Myanmar. In the middle is the massive bell shaped stupa plated with tons of gold and especially, thousands of diamonds and rubies decorated on the top of the stupa. The pagoda is surrounded by other shrines, temples and many other religious structures inside it. The sunset from Pagoda should not be missed.

Day 03 : Yangon – Fly to Heho – Pindaya – Kalaw (B/-/-)
Take morning flight to Heho.
On arrival at Heho airport, meet our tour guide and driver for 2 hour transfer to Pindaya. This driving will offer you delightful scenery of the hill station region passing by the picturesque landscapes along the way. Take a stop at big Banyan trees near Pindaya caves to relax and it is also a great place for photo stop. Then take a visit inside the Pindaya caves where there are a lot of Buddha images from the 18 century and beautiful stalagmite and stalactites.
The next stop will be the traditional umbrella making village to see how local people make a perfect umbrella. Transfer to Kalaw highland town.
On arrival, check in hotel and take a walk around the town to feel the great comfortable fresh air.
Overnight in Kalaw.
Day 04 : Kalaw – Trekking – Transfer to Inle lake (B/L/-)
Our tour guide will meet you at hotel and go to Paulaung tribe village. It will take around 1 hour trekking from Kalaw. Then to the Pauluang hills in Kalaw sub area. Keep trekking to the hill clan village to discover their culture and daily life.
Enjoy the lunch boxes.
Trekking back to Kalaw in the afternoon and meet our driver for a transfer to Inle Lake.
Arrive in Nyangshwe town by the bank of the lake, check in hotel and relax.
Overnight in Nyangshwe town.

Day 05 : Inle Lake – full day exploration (B/-/-)
After breakfast, embark a boat trip to the huge Inle lake to enjoy the beautiful landscapes and see the local Intha people working on the lake. They stand and row the boat with 1 leg skillfully. This may be the unique way to row boat in the world.
Passing the floating gardens on the lake and listening to the guiding about the life style, the culture and how to cultivate their vegetation as well as the way to catch fishes in the lake with their traditional traps.
Explore the Nampan villages at the end of the Inle Lake. Gain the experience for their traditional handicraft villages such as silk weaving lotus, cigarette and boat making as well as the blacksmith village.
Back to Nyaungshwe town for your stay.

Day 06 : Inle Lake – Heho – Fly to Mandalay (B/-/-)
Get a pick up from your hotel and visit a local market which is the 5 days rotation market. This is the most fascinating to explore the daily life of minority and their activities.
Keep going our boat trip to Indein Pagoda. The boat will leave the lake for entering the small canal and after 30 minutes to arrive in Pa O tribe village. From the village, take a walk through the old cover path to the hundreds of ruin pagodas. From the major stupa on the top of the hill offers gorgeous views over the surrounding mountain ranges and the lake in a far distance.
Walk back to the jetty and embark on the boat to the Lake. On the way, we make stop at the long neck women village and their silk shop and Phaung Daw OO pagoda or called the Jumping Cat pagoda before back to Nyaungshwe town and transfer to airport for short flight to Mandalay.

Day 07 : Mandalay – Mingun – Full day city tour (B/-/-)
Breakfast at your hotel and meet our tour guide for a transfer to Mandalay jetty for a boat trip along the Ayeyarwaddy River up to the north to the Mingun.
After 1 hour boating, arrive in Mingun and enjoy a short walk to visit the most highlights in the region:
Pahtodawgyi temple: an uncompleted gigantic monument. You could take hundred steps to the top of this temple to get a great view of Ayeyarwaddy River and the area.
The next destination is just a couple of minutes walking – Mingun bell. This is a gigantic bell with 90 tons in weight. Today, it is the second biggest ringing bell in the world.
Keep walking in a short distance will lead us to Hsinbyume Pagoda built in 1816 by Bagyidaw King to dedicated his wife. He named the pagoda following his wife’s name.
Get on the boat and back to the city for your own lunch and major sites exploration. It will be included the most outstanding cultural and historical sites: Mahamuni Pagoda, marble sculpture to see how local people make Buddha statues from marble, the gold leaf making center, then visit to the Shwenandaw monastery or Golden Monastery well known for its great wood carving. Kuthodaw pagoda known as the biggest book in the world with 729 marble slabs inscribed the Buddha’s doctrine.
And enjoy the great sunset from the top of Mandalay hill.

Day 08 : Mandalay – Sagaing – Ava – Amarapura (B/-/-)
Enjoy a full day to discover this beautiful region, after breakfast, we will transfer out of the city to Sagaing where a lot of Buddhist monasteries situated.
Sagaing is the hill terrace so from this site, you can view the great Ayeyarwaddy River, the Mandalay city with numerous temples and monasteries. The major attractive site in Sagaing hill is U Min Thoze pagoda.
The next stop will be Inwa separated by a small river; we have to take a ferry boat to across the river and on arrival, get a horse cart riding to enjoy the beautiful rural scenery. The horse cart will take us to Bagaya wooden monastery, the Nanynt watching tower. It is leaning tower so now we could not climb up there, and the brick Aungmyaybonza monastery.
Transfer back to Amarapura to visit the silk weaving village and enjoy a gentle walking along Ubein Bridge the longest teakwood bridge in the world to capture the awesome sunset.
Back to the city for your own dinner.

Day 09 : Mandalay – car to Monywa – enjoy Monywa tour (B/-/-)
After your breakfast at your hotel. Enjoy a drive to Monywa. On arrival, take a visit to Thanbuddhyi Pagoda, the highest and biggest standing Buddha statues in Myanmar which is home to more than 500,000 images of Buddha inside. And then visit the Hiaungdawmu Buddha, the second largest reclining Buddha in Myanmar.

Day 10 : Monywa tour – transfer to Bagan (B/-/-)
Get up and enjoy breakfast before transfer to Bagan. Out of the city, we will take a visit to the cave chambers of Pho Win Daung and Shwe Ba Daung.
The Po Win Hills houses a system of 500 sandstone caves including around 450,000 paintings, statues and carvings. This is very impressive place and worth to visit before a long day driving from Bagan.
Arrival in Pakokku, enjoy a 2 hour boat trip along the Ayeyarwaddy River. Pick up from Bagan jetty to your hotel and take a relaxation.

Day 11 : Bagan – full day discovery (B/-/-)
Heading the Swhezigon pagoda before it is hotter in the middle of the day under the sunshine. This is the gold plated pagoda built to house the Buddha relic that brought from India thousand years ago.
The next is a short discover local Nyaung U market. A bustling market where local meeting, exchanging, selling and buying the goods, fruits, vegetables, lacquerwares, pottery…
After market, we visit Gubyaukgyi Temple, famous for its mural. Our guide will tell you the great story from ancient pictures on the wall.
Enjoy your own lunch and relax at your hotel
In the afternoon, visit the Ananda temples built in 1105 AD, houses four standing Buddha, each one facing the cardinal direction of East, North, West and South. Then visit to Htilominlo temple to admire the four Buddhas that face each direction.
End of the day to Shwesandaw temple and enjoy the sunset over the mountain from the temple.
Overnight in Bagan.
Day 12 : Bagan – Mt Popa – Bagan (B/-/-)
Get up earlier to feel the cool climate with gentle breeze. Take a deeply breath and enjoy the sunrise in Bagan.
Breakfast at hotel and meet our tour guide for a full day visit to Mt Popa with a monastery on the top of the mountain located 50km away from Bagan plain.
Southwest of Mount Popa is Taung Kalat and there is a Monastery on the top of Taung Kalat hill. It is a day to climb 777 steps to reach the summit of Taung Kalat. Enjoy a panoramic view to the huge plain and could see the ancient Bagan city. After visit to the monastery, climb down and transfer to a restaurant of Mt Popa resort which will offer the great view of Mt Popa. Lunch is on your own account.
In the afternoon, driving back to Bagan, on the way, we will make a stop to visit a village cottage industry taste the regional product and learn how they make the brown sugar from the juice of palm trees.
Back to Bagan, explore to the local life in the West Pwazaw and Minnanthu village to see how Burmese people struggle their lives. It is a real exploration the local rural life.

Day 13 : Bagan tour – Fly to Yangon (B/-/-)
Starting by a horse cart to Manuha temple contains three images of seated Buddha and an image of Buddha entering Nirvana. This is one of the oldest temples in Bagan.
Discover the famous traditional handicraft lacquerware in the Myinkabar village.
And move to Dhamayangyi Pagoda - the biggest temple in Bagan, and then continue to Myauk Guni, Sulamani temple.
In the afternoon, explore to the local life in the West Pwazaw and Minnanthu village to see how Burmese people struggle their lives. It is a real exploration the local rural life.
Transfer to airport for flight to Yangon.
On arrival, pick up to hotel.

Day 14 : Yangon – Departure (B/-/-)
Enjoy your last minutes in the city on your own till meet our driver for a transfer to airport for your flight home or your next destinations.
